New Equipment

Thanks to UsedCameras.com, I have some new equipment.  I traded in my EF 35-135mm and my EFSs 18-55mm IS for used EF-S 17-85mm F/4-5.6.  I had to add in a little extra cash, but so far I really like the new lens. It is quite an upgrade from the two that I traded.  The range is really nice, and compliments my 70-200mm well.  Look for new pics soon.

Mega Link Post

Lifehacker had a bunch of "Best Of 2009" posts today, and I found myself pouring through a bunch of the articles.  I am going to link to them, because I will most likely want to reference them at some later point.  There is some cool stuff.  Also, I am a nerd.  Lifehacker is a fantastic site, and not just for the geek minded.  It is one of my favorite sites.  Lifehacker, their sister site Gizmodo and (formerly sister site) The Consumerist take up a lot of my internet browsing time.

Ubuntu 9.10 hit servers early

I was going to wait on this for a couple of weeks, but I am downloading it right now.  Karmic Koala?? Where do they come up with the names for this?  I though Jaunty Jakalope was bad.  Lucid Lynx (10.04) comes out next year.  I am curious about this one.  Jaunty worked pretty well for me.

First The Xbox 360, Then The Playstation 3, And Finally...

Last week Netflix announced that it would now allow subscribers to watch its instant movies on the Playstation 3, and based on this Netflix survey question, maybe the Wii is next!
